Our Mountain Life
After about a year of running back and forth between West Virginia and our Baltimore home, we realized that we were ready for a BIG change and to reinvent ourselves and our work in the woods of West Virginia. We didn’t know what we didn’t know about rural living but like anything we do, we approached it with a vigor dove in with both feet. Our home sits on “The Mountain,” (as we call it) and is adjacent to and overlooks The Woods community. The photo above is the view of The Woods (and Sleepy Creek.)
Our own home transformation has been evolving since the day we purchased this 13 acres with a half mile dirt road for a driveway. We went from being a small a-frame hidden away in an overgrown forest to wide open views of the mountains and 3000+ feet of living and working space. We are now cultivating our land and building a small farm creating more self-sustainability (and keeping us in shape!) Tune into Teddi Talks to see the Mountain Makeover and the creation of Honey House Farm.
